Japanese language teachers in the city of Aktau

Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, Faculty of Oriental Studies, Department of Far East’s Japanese language teacher Samal Borankulova and Professor of the University of Tsukuba Ninomiya Takashi conducted a course of vocational guidance in Aktau schools within the framework of the Japan International Development Foundation “Sakura Network”.

            In schools № 10, 11, 13 of the city of Aktau and Nazarbayev Intellectual School were informed about the educational process at the al-Farabi Kazakh National University’s Faculty of Oriental Studies. Students were informed about Japan and the Japanese language, culture, the process of entering universities in Japan and academic mobility in KazNU. Video materials about the university and graduates, as well as brochures were presented. Work on vocational guidance is important for the timely and informed choice of students.
