On December 6th, the Chairman of the Japanese Bank Mitsubishi in Kazakhstan gave a lecture to Far East Department’s teachers and students of the Faculty of Oriental Studies, al-Farabi Kazakh National University. The chairman of the bank, Mr. Yoshihiro Utsumi, a graduate of the Sofia University, gave a presentation on the concept of gross domestic product in Japanese, explaining the current state of gross domestic product in Kazakhstan and how to calculate it. Gross domestic product of Kazakhstan is now ranked 55th in the world ranking. Economic analysis showed the presence, highlighted one of the most pressing problems in Kazakh society - strengthening and depreciation of the tenge. Topics such as crude oil prices in the foreign exchange market of Kazakhstan, the impact of foreign portfolio investment, and Russian rubles were also raised. In addition, emphasis was placed on changes in the volume of foreign trade of Kazakhstan over the next few years in terms of the impact of exports and imports on the economy of Kazakhstan. The economic problems of the country, which are closely connected with our daily lives, became more understandable after the lecture conducted by a specialist.
