Discussion of joint research projects between the faculties of KazNU

Representatives of the Faculty of Oriental Studies and representatives of the Faculty of Geography and environmental sciences discussed the possibilities of future joint research projects on sustainable development and environmental protection.

Today environmental issues are becoming one of the most urgent topics. In particular, the " sustainable development goals" proposed by the UN require special attention. Among the OECD countries, the Japan stands out for its modern research and advanced technologies in the above topic. In this regard, the potential and opportunities of specialists of both faculties to solve the indicated problems are huge.

At the end of the meeting, the parties agreed to meet again within the framework of round tables to strengthen and develop joint scientific projects and ties.
