November 29, 2019 in the conference hall of the faculty of pre-university training a leadership lecture dedicated to the First President's Day was held on the topic «MODERN KAZAKHSTAN. WORKS OF THE HEAD OF THE STATE»

On November 22, 2019, the open event «Ұлы халықтың – ұлы Абайы» was held, dedicated to the 175th anniversary of Abay Kunanbaev, organized by senior teacher Idrisova Gulzhan Asankyzy and teacher Magaz Ratbek.

In 16.11.2019, kazakh students whose came from abroad to study at the faculty of pre-university education of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University visited the Central Museum in Almaty, which was founded in 1925 and has more than 200 thousand exhibits. This tour was organized as part of the program “Rukhani Zhagyru” to introduce students to the museum’s valuable documentary artifacts. Organized person was teacher of the faculty Sandykbayeva Urikkul. Students of the faculty of pre-university education annually visits the sights and cultural places of our city and is spiritually enriched. The Central Museum has a special place among of them. The museum presents exhibits telling about the life of mankind from the time of its formation up to modern independent Kazakhstan. The most interesting for our students in the Central Museum were the monuments of the stone, bronze, iron and Turkic era, which they recently studied on the subject of the history of the Kazakhstan.

 The Republican Youth Forum «MEN ZHASTARGA SENEMIN», dedicated to the Day of the First President of the country, was held at Al-Farabi KazNU in Almaty. Vice Prime Minister B.M. Saparbayev, Minister of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan A.K.Aymagambetov, Minister of Information and Public Development D.A.Abaev, First Deputy Chairman of the Anti-Corruption Agency of the Republic of Kazakhstan O.A.Bektenov, Deputy Akim of Almaty E.Zh. Babakumarov, Rector of KazNU Academician G.M. Mutanov, well-known public and government figures, students and working youth from all regions of the country took part in the award ceremony. As part of this annual Republican event, competitions are held for the best student innovation project «My Real Contribution to the Innovative Development of Kazakhstan», the best essays «What can I do for the prosperity of my country», the best poetic work and song on a patriotic theme. An innovative project and a creative work were presented from our department.

On October 24, 2019, the historical and local history club "Саяхат", as well as educational club "Kazakhstan regional geography" of the Department of Language and general education of foreigners of the Faculty of Pre-university Education organized an excursion to the state historical and cultural reserve-Museum of Issyk for groups with Russian language training.

During the excursion, foreign students visited Ili-Alatau national Park, lake Issyk.

October 20, 2019 at 20:00 in the auditorium of the hostel №14 teachers of the Department of Language and general education of foreigners of the Faculty of Pre-university Education held an educational event "Turkestan is the historical center of South Kazakhstan". During the event, foreign students were shown a film on the stated topic.

On September 18, 2019, foreign students of the Department of Language and General educational of foreigners of Faculty of Pre-University Education, studying Kazakh and Russian languages, together with curators-advisors took an active part in the International student festival within the framework of the «Global summit of world universities».

On October 18, 2019, an event was held in memory of Said Samim Faramarz, who graduated student of the faculty of pre-university education in 2010-2011 academic year. He is an activist of the UN New Silk Road model program, a talented journalist and correspondent for TOLOnews (TBC), died on September 5, 2018 in Kabul during an explosion with his colleague Razim Ahmadi. In honor of Said Samim Faramarz, the UN information office in Kazakhstan, the Almaty office of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Consulate General of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan in Almaty and the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University organized an event. During the event, the film “Said Samim” was shown and photo exhibition “Journalism in Afghanistan” was organized.
