Kazakh National University named after Al-Farabi takes part in the most authoritative international ratings such as QS, THE, ARES and undoubtedly occupies a leading position among Kazakhstani universities.

Members of the Board of Directors of NJSC "KazNU named after al-Farabi" got acquainted with the exhibition of innovative projects dedicated to the achievements of young scientists, which was organized within the walls of the educational institution for the 30th anniversary of the Independence of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

At the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, during the online meeting of the Academic Council, dedicated to the Day of Science, university teachers were awarded letters of thanks from the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, medals of the educational institution and diplomas of the rector.

At the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University for the Day of Science Workers, saplings of the Sivers apple tree were planted. The event was held jointly with the Ecological Association "ECOJER" and the movement of the Civil Initiative "Alma Qala".

Young specialists of the scientific and technological park of KazNU named after al-Farabi, together with scientists from the Scientific Research Institute of Combustion Problems, have developed a protective face shield ALFASHIELD.

At the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, the International Scientific Conference of Students and Young Scientists "Farabi Alemi" and a competition for the best student innovation projects within the framework of student business incubators of KazNU were held in an online format. The events are dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the Independence of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Chairman of the Board-Rector of the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University Zhanseit Tuimebayev took part in the online work of the international round table, where the book "Representatives of ethnic groups of Kazakhstan in art and culture: an encyclopedia of personalities" was presented, prepared and published by the Kazakh National Academy of Arts named after T.K. Zhurgenov on an initiative project of the Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan.

Young scientists, students and teachers of humanitarian faculties of KazNU named after al-Farabi will take part in the A.A. Gromyko, which will be held in July this year.

In honor of the celebration of the 30th anniversary of the independence of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the largest International Scientific Conference of Students and young scientists “Farabi Alemi” was launched on 6 April at Al-Farabi Kazakh National University. Each year this scientific forum gathers more than 6,000 participants from all over Kazakhstan and the countries of near and far abroad.

The faculty and staff of Al-Farabi KazNU actively participated in the process of mass vaccination. The Russian vaccine Sputnik V is being vaccinated at the university.
