Chairman of the Board - Rector of NJSC "KazNU named after al-Farabi ”Zhanseit Tuimebayev met with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the French Republic to Kazakhstan Didier Caness, during the negotiations the issues of deepening scientific, educational and cultural cooperation were discussed.

At a meeting with Zhanseit Tuimebayev, Chairman of the Board-Rector of the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, professors and teachers from among the veterans of the university shared their views and gave suggestions on topical issues of the university's development.

During the event, issues of improving the educational process, developing research activities, providing scientific centers and laboratories with modern equipment were discussed.

The traditional winter media school carried out its work online. Timed to coincide with the 100th anniversary of "Qazaq Radiosy" and World Radio Day, the VIII Winter School of International Journalism and Communication on the theme "Accessible Radio to Every Resident and the Whole Population: Fighting the COVID-19 Pandemic" is an international event that united seven countries of the world.

In KazNU named after al-Farabi, a meeting of students with researchers from the research laboratory of the Department of Artificial Intelligence and Big Data was held, during which they were able to get acquainted with the main directions of its activities and scientific projects.

The Department of Business Technologies together with the staff of DAMU Logistics (http://dlg.kz/) held an online meeting with 1-4 year students of the Logistics specialty. At the online meeting, speaker Mr. A. Anishev, curator of the DAMU training center, manager for the implementation of online projects, shared practical information on the topic "Integrated logistics: from import of goods to their implementation." 

4th year students of the specialty mechanics of the Faculty of Mechanics and Mathematics of the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University passed pedagogical practice at the "Republican Physics and Mathematics School" from 01/18/2021 to 02/06/2021 in accordance with the curriculum.

The RSE on REM "Institute of Mechanics and Engineering Science named after Academician Dzholdasbekov" donated to the Department of Mechanics of the Faculty of Mechanics and Mathematics of the Kazakh National University named after Al-Farabi the textbook of Academician U.A. Dzholdasbekov "Tearily mechanics aceptar inay" released in Almaty, 2003.“
