Lecturer of the Department of Japanese Studies, Faculty of Oriental Studies, Al-Farabi KazNU, Yerlan Abdiyevich Akhapov has completed a three-week training course on 21st-century skills at the Urava Japanese Language Institute of the International Japan Foundation.

Department of «Business Technologies» of the High School of Economics and Business, Al-Farabi KazNU hold a lecture on the topic of «Leadership» for first-year students of the specialty «Marketing» and «Logistics». The main speakers were represented by the General Director of «Pride Logistics service» LLP, MBA Zhuldyz Abdygapparova and the founder of «TABAM» Digital-lab Marketing Berik Bekmurzaev.

The House of Al-Farabi will be opened in Amman (Jordan). This was agreed during a meeting of the Vice-Rector for Internationalization and Commercialization of Al-Farabi KazNU Mehmet Arslan with President of Jordan State University Abdel-Karim Al-Qudah.  

In the program article «Rukhani Zhangiru: Bolashakka Bagdar», the First President-Leader of the Nation N.A. Nazarbayev highlighted that one of the main conditions for the modernization of public consciousness is the understanding that «Education is the most fundamental factor for success in the future». Universities, as an important subjects in the formation of human capital, must provide a new quality of education based on advanced technologies with an emphasis on spiritual and moral education.

The Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Canada to the Republic of Kazakhstan, Nicholas Brousseau, the Commissioner for Children’s Rights in Kazakhstan, Aruzhan Sain and the delegation of the Canadian University of McGill has visited Al-Farabi KazNU in order to develop international cooperation and transfer new educational programs and technologies in the field of medicine.

Al-Farabi KazNU hosted the International Scientific Conference «Inverse Problems in Finance, Economics and Life Sciences», organized by KazNU and Abay KazNPU.

The discussion of the Address of President Kassym-Jomart Tokaev to the nation of Kazakhstan «Constructive Public Dialogue - the Basis of Stability and Prosperity of Kazakhstan» was held at Al-Farabi KazNU.

Al-Farabi Kazakh National University hosted the International Summer School of Physics in High Energy Physics and Accelerator Technology "Introduction to High Energy and Accelerator Physics". It was attended by scientists and experts in the field of Nuclear Physics from the United States, Dubna, Russia, Azerbaijan, Armenia and Uzbekistan.

An international Round Table dedicated to the International Day against Nuclear Tests took place in the new United Nations building in Almaty. The event was organized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan together with a representative office in Almaty, the UN Information Bureau in Kazakhstan and Al-Farabi Kazakh National University.

Al-Farabi Kazakh National University and the National University of Kongju (South Korea) signed a Cooperation agreement. Welcoming the guests, Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs of KazNU Askar Khikmetov told about the scientific and educational activities and international cooperation of KazNU to the delegation of South Korea, headed by the President of the National University of Kongju, Mr. Sung-Soo Won.
