A session on the topic "Scientific and Methodological Foundations of the Study and Use of the State Language of the Republic of Kazakhstan" was held at the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University. The event was attended by linguists, foreign professors, academic staff of the Faculty of Philology.

Vice-Minister of Justice of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Alma Mukanova paid a working visit to the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University. The guest of honor met with the Chairman of the Board – Rector of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University Zhanseit Tuimebayev.

Chairman of the Board – Rector of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University Zhanseit Tuimebayev took part in the 2^nd Friendly Dialogue of Cross-Border Cooperation between Kazakhstan and China, which was held in Almaty. The purpose of the meeting is to deepen cooperation and expand ties between two states.

Studying abroad is always stressful. To make it easier for my students to adapt to a new life I always discuss topics comparing Kazakhstan with their native countries.
