Master students of Al-Farabi KazNU have been undergoing a scientific internship at the leading University in the world - Oxford University. The agreement on the development of partnership between the Universities was signed last year, during the visit of KazNU’s Rector, academician Galym Mutanov to this famous British University.

Al-Farabi KazNU hosted a Conference dedicated to the presentation of new 30 textbooks translated into Kazakh language within the framework of the project «New Humanitarian Knowledge: 100 Textbooks in Kazakh Language».

April 16, 2019 at the Faculty of History, Archeology and Ethnology hosted the opening ceremony for the auditorium of Gabbas Zhumatov. A versatile and leading biologist, Prof. Dr. Zihni Demirbağ paid an official visit to the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University on 30^th March 2019, on invitation from the Dean of the Faculty of Biology and Biotechnology, Prof. Zayadan Bolatkhan. Prof. Demirbağ is serving as a Head of the Department of Molecular Biology at Karadeniz Technical University, Trabzon, Turkey.

Students of the Faculty of Journalism of Al-Farabi KazNU are participating in the XI student subject Olympiad in the specialty «Journalism», which is taking place in S. Toraigyrov Pavlodar State University.
