KazNU will Bring Together Diplomats of the OIC Member States
On November 12-14, 2018 Orientation Program on «Transnational Threats, Terrorism and Security Challenges» for diplomats of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) member states will be held at Al-Farabi Kazakh National University.

KazNU Scientists’ Technology was Introduced to Production
On October 31, a significant and joyful event took place in the village of Boraldai in the Iliysky District of the Almaty Region – a pilot production of polyester resins has been launched. Technology developed by KazNU scientists has been introduced into production.

QS: KazNU has Entered the Top 20 Best Universities in Eastern Europe and Central Asia
Al-Farabi KazNU, the only university in Kazakhstan, has entered the top 20 best universities in Eastern Europe and Central Asia in the QS International Ranking (Quacquarelli Symonds), and once again has confirmed its high competitiveness in the global scientific and educational space. The research took into account the number of academic studies conducted by Universities, as well as their world reputation.

KazNU's Scientific Journal has Entered into International Database
According to the «Clarivate Analytics» International Agency, which operates information systems and collections on intellectual property, scientific journal of Al-Farabi KazNU «International Journal of Biology and Chemistry» was added into the database of emerging scientific sources of the «Web of Science Core Collection».
