KazNU is to benefit from quick access to high-quality English language scientific translation and editing services from Enago.

At the invitation of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of the People's Republic of China and the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, Nabizhan Mukhametkhanuly took part in the international symposium "Chinese Studies and Modern China 2018" in Beijing.

At the end of August the associate professor Akhapov EA. and students of his laboratory of the Far East department of the Oriental Studies faculty has successfully achieved the course of Japan-Asia Youth Exchange Program in Science (SAKURA Exchange Program in science) administrated by Japan Science and Technology Agency (JST) at the University of Tsukuba.

In implementing the tasks set by the Head of the State, Al-Farabi KazNU became the first Kazakhstani university to open a postdoctoral program. Al-Farabi Kazakh National University is hosting the 5th International School of Young Scientists Physicists "Adjacent problems of physics and astrophysics of ultra-high-energy particles" from August 27 to September 1. Organizers - the Lebedev Physical Institute of the Russian Academy of Sciences (LPI RAS), "Tien-Shan High-Altitude Scientific Station" (TSHASS LPI RAS), al-Farabi Kazakh National University with the support of the Interstate Fund for Humanitarian Cooperation of the CIS (IFESCCO).

The Futsal World Championship among students will be held for the first time in Kazakhstan and in the history of the CIS countries in Almaty from 19 to 26 August. National teams of Brazil, Argentina, Portugal, Spain, Italy, Poland, Thailand, Iran, Russia, Ukraine and Kazakhstan will meet in international competitions, which will be organized at the base of «Almaty Arena» and «Halyk Arena».
