On June 27, 2018 at the Kazakh National University named after al-Farabi was held a Round Table on "Smart and Resilient Cities". Al-Farabi KazNU and American University of Ras Al Khaimah (AURAK, United Arab Emirates) have signed a Memorandum of Cooperation. The signing ceremony took place during the meeting of Rector Galym Mutanov with President of AURAK Al Alkim.
