At 1000-th anniversary of Almaty the official opening ceremony of a social store was held

On March 7, 2016 KazNU named after al-Farabi again showed its leadership, successfully finishing the first duration of an activity in the rank of Sustainable Development Hub of UN Program (UNAI) Academic impact.

Тeachers and students of the Faculty of Oriental Studies of the Russian Far East, held in the framework of the project «Айналаңды нұрландыр» cognitive festive event "Oriental patterns" in the 17th House of students. During the event educators introduce students to the Faculty of Philology with the international activities of the Department of the Far East.

Professor of the Department of Chinese Studies, Nurzhamal Aldabek Abdirazakovna, is participating in the conference «One zone - one way: economic zone «The Great Silk Road», which takes a place in one of the free economic zones of China, Shenzhen city. At the conference were raised questions about the revival of historical significance of "Great Silk Road" in Central Asia that connects China and Europe and filling this idea to new economic content. The conference was attended by over 100 delegates from 34 countries.

On the 13^th of February teachers and students of Department of Far East of Oriental Studies faculty of KazNU after al-farabi visited to school №5 in Kapchagay city to conduct activities in professionally-oriented direction for high school students.
