On November, 30th of 2010 year at the faculty of international relations in Resource and Information center on NATO and Student's association “M. И.Р НАТО” under the “Open Day” program of the International relations faculty of al-Farabi Kazakh National University has taken place acquaintance with activity of RIC and associations.

Diplomatic club "Talleyrand» under the orientation week from November, 26th till December, 3rd was held presentations about the Faculty of international relations and diplomatic club “Talleyrand” al-Farabi Kazakh National University, for graduation classes of schools of Almaty. Students have visited schools № 105, №103, №79, "Arman" and "Magistir".

On the 13th of December, 2010 at Al-Farabi Kazakh National university will be held the presentation of multi-country project TARGET for students, undergraduates, doctoral candidates, teachers and employees of Kazakhstan's universities in the framework of «Erasmus Mundus» program of the European Commission. Main priority of the project is to support theDevelopment of Higher Education in Central Asia and help to develop the economical situation and rise the life standard as a side effect. The project brings together a multidisciplinary consortium providing a unique opportunity to develop innovative new academic programmes and courses that will provide a common educational core while, at the same time, enabling students to choose elective modules according to their professional development needs and personal interests.

Al-Farabi Kazakh National University has long-standing and strong partnership relations with France in the field of education. It has become a good tradition to hold the regular information days, various meetings and presentations to faculty and university students organized by International Cooperation Department of the University with the support of the Embassy of France in Kazakhstan.

On November 25^th 2010 at 11.00 TEMPUS PERSEUS round table “Education-Science - Production” was held at al-Farabi university. It was organized by the Center for applied linguistics and cross-cultural communication with an assistance of industry and entrepreneurship department of Almaty municipal. The representatives of local and international companies such as POSCO, LG, Kookmin bank, Scientific Research Institute, university stuff and students participated in the round table.

А which is the subcontractor of company ADZHIP KKO within the limits of development of Trial working out of a deposit of Kashagan, spends search of candidates from among graduates for the subsequent training of students on following specialities: the deck officer, the ship mechanic. Training of candidates will pass in the International Sea College of Oman in English 5 years. The international Sea College of Oman prepares students for work in projects of the international level, and graduates will be in great demand on the international labor market. For this purpose students (all faculties) with good knowledge of English language and mathematics will be considered.

It is given to candidates: the grant, residing, a food, flight, visa registration. After end of training of Sajpem will conclude the labor contract with them for 5 years. On November, 19th the presentation of company Saipem and carrying out of tests on English language and mathematics among candidates will take place.

Students take part In competition from 50 countries by which results winners will have an opportunity to pass training within 3 months in three countries of the world at their choice. Within the limits of presentation the unique seminar devoted to questions of career growth where you receive answers to questions will take place how correctly to make the resume that it is necessary to take into consideration during job search how to behave during interview. The seminar is spent by Anders Bauer, the graduate of the Stockholm school of Economy and the participant of the program for undergraduates at the Harward university.
