The Al-Farabi KazNU Library hosted a round table on the topic "Gift of the Archive: Books of the Central State Administration of the Republic of Kazakhstan to the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University" aimed at strengthening cooperation between two institutions.

The Faculty of Geography and Environmental Management of the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University hosted the grand opening of the Stanislav Yerdavletov’s auditorium, a famous geographer, scientist, Doctor of Geographical Sciences, founder of the Kazakhstan Scientific School of Geography of Tourism. The event was attended by the university administration, the teaching staff and students.

Zhanseit Tuimebayev took part in the VII Forum of Kazakh-French Universities in Paris. The rector of KazNU signed a memorandum on cooperation and further development of partnership with leading universities in France.

The 75^th anniversary of the outstanding scientist, academician of the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Doctor of Philology, Professor, orientalist, diplomat Absattar Derbisali was celebrated at the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University. The event began in the Al-Farabi Library, where the "Fund of Rare Books and Manuscripts named after Academician Absattar Derbisali" was opened. In the historical auditorium, which was opened especially for students, early books and manuscripts written by scientists are presented.

The museum of the Kazakh National University hosted the grand opening of a traveling exhibition dedicated to the 70^th anniversary of the artist-restorer, member of the Union of Artists of Kazakhstan, holder of the Hungarian Order of “the Knight's Cross” K. Altynbekov.

Chairman of the Board-Rector of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University took part in the VII Forum of Universities of Kazakhstan and France in Paris. Within the framework of the event an exhibition of Kazakh and French universities was held.

A round table dedicated to the outstanding Hungarian orientalist, traveler, zoologist and ethnographer György Almásy was held at the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University.

Students of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University became winners of the republican contest of talented youth "The Best Student of the Republic of Kazakhstan".

The Al-Farabi Kazakh National University has jointly launched a project of dual education with the Archive of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan within which students of the Faculty of History will have an opportunity to acquire a profession in demand.

By order of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan, students of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University were awarded a scholarship by the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan for the 2022-2023 academic years.
