Chairman of the Board – Rector of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University Zhanseit Tuimebayev met with representatives of the Parliamentary Assembly of Turkic States (TURKPA). In his speech, the head of the university, introducing the lecturer, noted that KazNU interacts with US academic institutions in various fields. To date, more than ten agreements have been signed with leading universities, institutes, research centers, and non-governmental organizations in the United States.

Aldiyar Agyshev, an engineer of the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, PhD, spoke at a meeting of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev with young scientists in Almaty.

Senior lecturer of the Department of the Far East of the Faculty of Oriental Studies of KazNU Kydyrbayev Bektiyar successfully completed an international internship for advanced training at Korea University (Seoul). The University is among the top 200 universities in the world, according to the QS WUR rating.

Al-Farabi Kazakh National University solved the problem of lack of accommodation by carrying out major repairs. It is planned to increase the living area of the university dormitories by 2,000 places.
