Chairman of the Board – Rector of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University Zhanseit Tuimebayev met with the Secretary General of the Silk-Road Universities Network (SUN) with Mr. Hwang Sungdon.

Al-Farabi Kazakh National University celebrated the Alumni Day. The event started at the Mangilik El Arch, which was attended by representatives of different generations of graduates of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University. Flowers were laid at the monument of the thinker of the East Abu Nasr al-Farabi.

A presentation of the course "Constitutional Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan" was held at the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University. During the event, a memorandum of understanding was signed between the KazNU and the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Rector of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University Zhanseit Tuimebayev received a delegation of Peter the Great St. Petersburg Polytechnic University.

Within the framework of the first OIC-15 Dialogue Platform's Ministerial Meeting, Chairman of the Board – Rector of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University Zhanseit Tuimebayev met with the Deputy Secretary General of the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation for Science and Technology Askar Musinov. During the meeting, the sides discussed issues of bilateral cooperation.

Chairman of the Board – Rector of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University Zhanseit Tuimebayev met with the Coordinator General of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation Standing Committee on Scientific and Technological Cooperation (COMSTECH) Muhammad Iqbal and exchanged views on the further development of partnership.

The first OIC-15 Dialogue Platform's Ministerial Meeting was held at the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University. The international organization unites 57 Muslim countries.

The first meeting of the Ministers of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) took place at the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University.

Vice-Minister of Science, Research and Technology of the Islamic Republic of Iran Mr. Vahid Haddadi-Asl visited Al-Farabi Kazakh National University. During the visit, the distinguished guest got acquainted with the Faculty of Oriental Studies.
