Al-Farabi Kazakh National University signed a memorandum of cooperation with the Republican Student Movement “Alliance of Students of Kazakhstan” (ASK), which is designed to facilitate an effective process of information exchange between organizations.

 New classrooms, laboratories and centers have opened in Kazakhstani universities. They have already begun to conduct joint research with universities in Japan, Latvia, Estonia, Russia and Belarus. Also, universities subordinated to the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan updated the material and technical base and purchased new equipment for teaching students. 

Farabi University Day is celebrated in KazNU within the framework of the City Day celebration. The large-scale event started with a practical seminar for promising youth Business Day Almaty 3.0, organized with the assistance of the Department of Entrepreneurship and Investment of the city of Almaty.

The well-known statesman, diplomat, head of the Center for International Programs of the Foundation of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kairat Abuseitov recently visited the Al-Farabi KazNU, where he studied and taught in the 80s. After the official part of his visit to the alma mater, the diplomat gave an exclusive interview for the Kazakh University newspaper.

Chairman of the Board-Rector of Al-Farabi KazNU Zhanseit Tuimebayev met with university scientists who were members of the State Commission for the Rehabilitation of Victims of Political Repression in Almaty. The meeting discussed the progress of the research, as well as ways to provide comprehensive support to scientists in their scientific work.

When you say "natural plastic," you may have misheard. But you heard right, because the biotechnologists of our university have developed bioplastics. 

All teachers want their students’ achievement levels to increase and Me too!

The greatest reward to me for my job  as a teacher is seeing my students thrive and succeed! In the last academic year I was really very delighted to have great students in my English class, 101 group students majoring in Chemistry. The have completed the first course of their studies at the university and  now looking back   they are giving an account of what they have achieved over the past year. 

At the Kazakh National University named after Al-Farabi, the Chairman of the Board-Rector of the KazNU named after Al-Farabi Zhanseit Tuimebayev met with Doctor of Philosophy (PhD), editor-in-chief of the Internet publication "EUobserver" (Belgium) Kurt Diebof.

This year, graduates of the Kazakh National University. Al-Farabi for the first time was awarded diplomas of his own sample, which was developed by the designers of the publishing house "Kazakh University". The originality of the diploma is an exclusive design and modern security elements.

Today at the Kazakh National University named after Al-Farabi, a traditional ceremony of initiation into freshmen students was held.
