Social partnership between al-Farabi KazNU and the Archive of the President of Kazakhstan

The dual system of education is one of the most effective forms of professional staff training, which involves direct participation of enterprises in professional education of students.

In this regard, the Archive of the President of Kazakhstan is the main partner of al-Farabi KazNU in the training of specialists in the field of archival and documentary studies. Today, al-Farabi KazNU graduates make up a significant part of the Archive staff.

On October 24, 2018 the meeting of the rector of KazNU, academician G. M. Mutanov and the Director of the President’s Archive of Kazakhstan D.Y. Abdukadyrova was held.

During the meeting, the rector of KazNU raised issues of training in accordance with the priorities of the state programs, employment of graduates, International summer school of young archivists.

The Director of the Archive of the President D. Y. Abdukadyrova noted that practical training for students in the specialties such as "Archival Studies, Documentation and Documentation Provision" and "History" on the basis of the Archive will not only test their knowledge and to obtain professional skills, but also to get acquainted with the professional environment and to identify priorities for their professional future.

Cooperation of the Archive with the KazNU is not only to participate in the educational process but also in research work.

The Archive of the President of Kazakhstan annually holds scientific and practical conferences on various problems of archival science, in which teachers, students and undergraduates of KazNU take an active part. The Archive of the President of Kazakhstan as an employer is interested in high-quality training of young professionals at University.

The result of the meeting is the signing of the agreement on cooperation in the field of dual education.
