Honor to the scientist

On November 23, 2018 at the Faculty of Philology and World Languages ​​of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, the International Scientific and Methodological Conference “PHILOLOGICAL SCIENCES OF THE 21^st CENTURY: NATIONAL CODE AND LITERARY KNOWLEDGE” dedicated to the 70th anniversary of the outstanding literary scholar, famous scientist who made a great contribution to the field of education and science of the Republic of Kazakhstan, doctor of philology, professor, academician of the IAS Higher School of the Republic of Kazakhstan, member of the Union of Writers of Kazakhstan Zhangara Dadebayev was held. The conference was opened with the opening speech and congratulations of the rector of al-Farabi KazNU, academician G. Mutanov. Congratulations were given by the Chairman of the Senate of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan K. Tokayev, the Deputy Chairman of the Mazhilis of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan G. Isimbayeva, the Minister of Culture and Sports of the Republic of Kazakhstan A. Muhamadiyev, the Chairman of the Writers Union of Kazakhstan U. Yesdauletov, the First Deputy Chairman of the Republican Party “Nur Otan” M Ashimbayev. Famous scholars and public figures of our country, representatives of higher educational institutions of Kazakhstan took an active part in the conference, such as: Director of the Institute of Oriental Studies of the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Kazakhstan A. Derbysaliyev, Abai scholar, scientist M. Myrzakhmetuly, director of M. Auezov Institute of Literature and Art U. Kalizhanov, academician A. Kusainuly, poets N.Orazalin and R. Niyazbekov, professor T. Tebegenov, professor B.Vybrayymuly, professor B. Karbozov, professor A. Ismakova, G.Pralieva. Professor A. Tarakov delivered a report on the life and scientific path of the academician Zh. Dadibayev. Professor Zh. Dadabayev was awarded the Al-Farabi Silver Medal of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, the Kultegin Medal of the Eurasian National University and the medal "For the Best Achievements" of Mohammed Haidar Dulati Taraz State University. The conference also hosted the presentation of a book from the Onegeli Omir series dedicated to the life and work of Zh. Dadebayev and the multivolume book “Abai studies. Selected works”, prepared by the Abay Institute under the supervision of Zh. Dadebayev (I-XXXI volume).
