Professor of France in KazNU

The Faculty of International Relations of Al-Farabi KazNU held a meeting with Professor of the University of Poitiers (France) Licia Bagini. 

The Dean of the Faculty, S. Aidarbayev, welcoming the guest, highlighted that France is one of the main countries, with HEI’s of which KazNU has established very close and strong partnership and leading French scientists visit the University to deliver lectures, provide scientific guidance to PhD students. «I hope that fruitful cooperation between our Universities in the field of education and science will continue to develop».

During the meeting with undergraduate, Master’s and PhD students, Professor Licia Bagini made a presentation about the University of Poitiers’s educational programs, possibilities of academic student exchange, research internships, and summer school programs.

At the end of the meeting, she answered to the questions of interest to the students, who thanked the guest for an interesting and informative presentation.

The University of Poitiers has a long history and it is one of the leading French universities. KazNU works closely with the leading HEI’s of France. Academic exchange and joint training of specialists in the framework of international educational programs are also actively carried out.
