«Sunkar Cup»

The final championship of the Smart Student’s Project of the student project «Sunkar Cup» was held at the U. Zholdasbekov Students' Palace of Al-Farabi KazNU in the framework of the project «Ruhani Zhangiru». The following teams – «Akpen birge», «Everest», «Fiztekh», «Brand», and «Muzykanttyn Koyn daptery» were determined as the finalists of the competition.

The event was organized by the «Sunkar» Trade Union of Students and Undergraduates and the leadership of KazNU.

All five participants of the final stage have passed to the 3-stage «Preface» - a greeting, an intellectual and logical assessment of the level of the players, and home assignment with Zhuldyz. The task for the team was aimed at determining their level of knowledge, logical thinking, and etc. The quality of student performance was assessed by the Jury represented by the Director of the «Bugin Group», Aibek Kuatbayev, the singers - Aigul Kassanova and Didar Kaden, the Champion «Zhaydarman-2014», the Head of the Social and Educational Department of KazNU Talgat Abishev, the Chairman of the «Sunkar» Trade Union of the Student and Undergraduate organization Shugyla Meirambekyzy.

As a result of team competitions, the 3rd place and a ticket to the Charyn canyon were won by the «Brand» team of the Faculty of Philology and World Languages. The second place was taken by the team of the Faculty of Geography and Environmental Management «Everest». It was awarded a ticket to the sports and recreation camp in Issyk-Kul. The team of the Faculty of Physics and Technology Faculty – «Fiztech» has become the winner of the project «Smart Student’s Project» as well as the prize fund of 200,000 tenge from the «Bugin Group» Holding Company.

Also the best players of the teams have been awarded prizes in special nominations. Thus, Chingiz Yermakhan from the «Muzykanttyn Koyin Daptery» of the Faculty of Oriental Studies received the «Best Player» nomination, and he was awarded a ticket to the city of Dubai. Marina Fadeeva became the winner in the nomination «Miss SSP» Rozaline as well as the owner of the prize from the jewelry house «Rozaline Jewerly». The nomination «Mister SSP» and the prize from the jewelry house «Coolwatch Lordtimes» was given to Nurlebek Jappar. The captain of the team «Akpen Birge» Laura Rakhimbaeva was awarded the nomination «Best Captain».

The TV and Radio Complex of Al-Farabi KazNU has conducted the filming and provided informational support at the final stage of the championship of Sunkar Cup «Smart Student's Project» along with the sponsors. The guests, who have specially arrived at the final stage of the project expressed their sincere appreciation for the creativity and skillfulness of the teams and wished further success to «Sunkar» Trade Union of Students and Undergraduates.
