X INTERNATIONAL BEREMZHANOVSKY CONGRESS OF CHEMISTS

The Х International Beremzhanov Congress on Chemistry and Chemical Technology was held at Al-Farabi KazNU. Events within the Congress were c in conducted in the Al-Farabi library, as well as in the Malachite Hall of the Faculty of Chemistry and Chemical Technology.

More than 200 scientists attended the Congress from Kazakhstan, near and far abroad. They presented more than 120 scientific reports at plenary and breakout sessions. Participants are devoted their speeches at the Congress to such areas of Chemical science as Chemistry and Technology of Inorganic Substances and Materials, Chemistry and Technology of Organic Substances and Materials, Chemical Materials Science, Nanomaterials, Combustion Processes, etc.

Within the framework of the plenary session, the work of the round table entitled «Ways of integrating science and production» was organized. In a close dialogue between business leaders and representatives of the University environment, the main technological problems and challenges facing the chemical industry and the mining and metallurgical complex of Kazakhstan have been discussed, and possible solutions were proposed.
