An inter-faculty boxing championship dedicated to the Independence Day of the Republic of Kazakhstan
was held at the sports complex of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University.
The championship, which took place over 3 days, was attended by students of the Mechanics and Mathematics Faculty of Kazakh National University.
In the weight category up to 80 kg, Abilkhanov Islam,1st year student of the Department of Mechanics of the Mechanics and Mathematics Faculty, took 1st place. His Trainer is Zhumashev Darkhan
Stakhanovich.
It should be noted that this championship was organized from November 21 to 23, 2019, by the Department of Physical Education
and Sports of our University.
