Online Training of Military Journalists!

The Military Department of Al-Farabi KazNU and the editorial office of the Republican military-Patriotic newspaper «Sarbaz» jointly conduct online classes for future military journalists.

Thus, the creative Director of the newspaper Timur Kubekov has met with the audience of the Department in a video conference. He has told the students about the history of the military press of Kazakhstan, the formation and prospects for the development of the military-Patriotic publication «Sarbaz», the features of the development of the modern military press.

The online lesson has become a real master class for future military journalists. The issues of selecting topics of publications, relevance of selected topics, reliability and verification of information, and journalists’ responsibility were considered. The question of the role and significance of Internet resources in the modern information field has aroused great interest among the participants of the online meeting.

It should be noted that the Military Department of KazNU closely cooperates with the editorial office of the newspaper «Sarbaz». In September 2017, the Head of the Military Department, Colonel O.V. Azhimov, and the Editor-in-Chief of the «Sarbaz» newspaper, B.S.Kuatbek, signed a Memorandum of cooperation. In addition, the Military Department has opened a correspondent office of the newspaper, which helps to provide high-quality training for future military journalists.
