The Team of KazNU Won the Legal Olympiad

The team of Al-Farabi KazNU has won the Republican Online Olympiad in Law, which was attended by students from thirteen higher education institutions of the country.

The online Republican Student Olympiad in Law was held at the L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University.

The aim of the Olympiad is to identify and support talented student youth, as well as to develop special professional abilities of future specialists. Graduate students of higher education institutions , undergoing studies in law, were admitted to participate.

The Olympiad consisted of two rounds: 1st round – «Civil Law of RK» and «Civil Procedure Law of RK», 2nd round – «Criminal Law of RK» and «Criminal Procedure Law of RK». Students solved "case studies" using concrete examples from legal practice, gave precise, justified answers from the point of view of current legislation.

The team of Al-Farabi KazNU included 4th year students: Mutanbek Mubarakov, Aspandiyar Gazizov, Nurym Turlybi, Shyngys Rysbek and Aidos Raimkulov. Talented students study well and demonstrate organisational skills, taking an active part in all events organized and conducted by the Department of Theory and History of State and Law, Constitutional and Administrative Law of the Faculty of Law.

The results of the Olympiad were summed up by individual score. Our team has shown a decent result. First and second place in the individual score was won by students of Al-Farabi KazNU - M.Mubarakov and N.Turlybi.
