Teacher of KazNU wins «My Kazakhstan» Photo Contest

Doszhan Balabek, a teacher and doctoral student of the Department of Philosophy, Al-Farabi KazNU, has won the nomination «Flora and Fauna of Kazakhstan» in the photo contest «My Kazakhstan», organized by the Republican Public Association «Qazaq Geography».
The photo contest was dedicated to the ecology of Kazakhstan and was held to attract public attention to the nature of our vast country and the need to preserve it, to educate love for the native land and the formation of a careful, responsible attitude to natural resources and wealth.
The works of authors from different regions of the country in three nominations were accepted for participation in the contest: ecology and environment of Kazakhstan, flora and fauna, and nature of Kazakhstan. The most talented photographers competed for victory, and each participant had his or her own handwriting and style, talent and skill, so it was not easy for the jury to determine the best ones.
Doszhan Balabek presented five of his photographs. As a result, one of them was recognized as the best work in the competition. First place in the category «Flora and Fauna of Kazakhstan» was taken by Doszhan for his photography of the image of a wild fox shot in the campus of Al-Farabi KazNU. The winner was awarded valuable gifts from the public association «Qazaq Geography».
Doszhan is constantly on the lookout. He is a doctoral student, teacher and leading specialist at KazNU. In his spare time, he does his favorite work - photography. His work is dedicated to his favorite city and nature. Many readers know Doszhan from the work he places on his pages in social networks. Today his photographs are often exhibited at photo contests and exhibitions.
As part of this competition, the portal tengritravel.kz additionally announced the winners by online voting. In this nomination, the second place went to Doszhan Balabek for his photography entitled «Shubaikyzyl kyzgaldagy». Tengritravel.kz presented the winner with branded gifts. Congratulations!
