THE RECTOR OBLIGED TO SPEAK THE STATE LANGUAGE

The meeting of the Academic Council was dedicated to the festive date - the Constitution Day of the Republic of Kazakhstan, as well as the most pressing issue of the day - preparation for the new academic year, which begins in the traditional format.

The meeting was opened by the Chairman of the Board of KazNU named after Al-Farabi - rector Zhanseit Tuimebayev. Emphasizing the importance of the upcoming national holiday - Constitution Day, the head of the university said: “The main principle of the Constitution for each state is the preservation of the language, territory and strict observance of the Constitution. The first President-Elbasy and the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan always speak the state native language. If we do not speak the state language, then we do not support and defend our native language, the law. Every patriot should think about this deeply. Thanks to the language, we are a separate state. All managers and employees of KazNU should remember this and set an example for others, ”he said.

The head of the university, Zhanseit Tuimebayev, emphasized that this year the salaries of teachers and staff of the university were increased by 20%, the instructions of the President to improve the quality of education, develop science and other areas of the university's work are being carried out. The rector stressed that from the beginning of the new academic year, the teacher will receive 200,000 tenge, the senior teacher - 280,000 tenge, associate professor - 330,000 tenge, professor - 500,000 tenge. In addition, there is a surcharge for the degree of Doctor of Philosophy (PhD), Candidate of Science, Doctor of Science, qualification level. Also, bonus payments are provided twice a year.

Dean of the Faculty of Law D.L.Baydeldinov dedicated his report to the festive date and emphasized the historical significance of the Constitution of the Republic of Kazakhstan as the basis for the progressive economic, political and social development of the country. Emphasizing that the main ideological inspirer was the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan N.A. Nazarbayev, he spoke about articles and paragraphs dedicated to strengthening the unity of the country, preserving and developing traditions, linguistic culture of the people of Kazakhstan.

Further on the organization of the educational process in the new academic year, a member of the Board for Academic Affairs, Vice-Rector F.N. Zhakypovi Acting Vice-rector for social development A.R. Masalimov. Fulfilling the instructions of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, in KazNU named after Al-Farabi prepared for the return of students to the traditional form of education.

In her speech, Vice-Rector FN Zhakypova voiced the tasks facing the team in the new academic year: updating educational programs taking into account the promising tasks of the country's development; transition to the most modern technologies for assessing the knowledge and competencies of students; revision of the topic of graduate work and the introduction of a project approach, the introduction of complex digital learning technologies at all levels of education; a radical increase in the personnel potential of the teaching staff and others.

The meeting also discussed sanitary and epidemiological safety measures taken at the university and other topical issues.
