STUDENT KAZNU WINNED BRONZE MEDAL AT PARALYMPIC GAMES

Nurdaulet Zhumagali, a second-year student at the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, won a bronze medal in the 100-meter breaststroke at the Summer Paralympics in Tokyo.

Nurdaulet studies at the Faculty of Medicine and Healthcare, specializing in Physical Culture and Sports. Last year, he won two silver and one bronze medals at the Kazakhstan Swimming Championships in Aktobe. At a distance of 100 and 200 m breaststroke he won the honorable II place and took the III place with a 50 m breaststroke.

We congratulate the athlete on his victory and wish him great success and victories!

It is worth noting that 25 athletes from Kazakhstan took part in the Paralympic Games. To date, they have won 5 medals in the team competition. The international competition will run until September 5th.
