TEACHERS OF KAZNU PASS TRAINING AT ANTALYA BILIM UNIVERSITY

Al-Farabi KazNU sent teachers to Antalya Bilim University for advanced training courses "Turkish system of higher education".

The participants of the seminar (50 people) were warmly welcomed by their Turkish colleagues. The delegation of KazNU was greatly impressed by the modern campus of the university, a library and a picturesque garden in which about 1000 pomegranate trees grow and bear fruit, a dining room, auditoriums, laboratories and a mosque on the territory of the university. A technopark has been created at the university, which implements innovative projects to maintain and develop the country's economy.

Rector of Antalya Bilim University, Professor Ismail Yuksel addressed the teachers of Al-Farabi KazNU with a welcoming speech, noting the importance of cooperation with the leading Kazakhstani university, which ranks 175 in the QS ranking and is in the top 200 world universities. The rector acquainted the participants with the activities of the university, spoke about the specifics of the organization of the educational process, conducted a training. In his speech, he also touched upon the topic of innovative developments. And during the discussion, he emphasized that modern education requires a new approach to teaching and the development of the latest techniques that meet the current realities of the time. As the speaker said, it is necessary to preserve classical education and link it with advanced technologies that each student uses. “To improve the quality, each student needs an individual approach; one cannot demand the same solutions from all,” said Professor Ismail Yuksel. Vice-rector of Antalya Bilim University Hamza Kandur also spoke at the training, talking about innovations in the field of science and education in Turkey and the university.

It should be noted that KazNU students annually travel abroad to acquire additional knowledge and skills in various specialties. So, in 2021, more than 100 students of KazNU underwent an internship in the specialty "tourism and hotel business" in the Rixos hotel chain in Turkey.

According to the processor of the Faculty of Biology and Biotechnology Birlikbay Eszhanov, trainings in Turkey, organized by the leadership of KazNU for teachers and young scientists, are a great support and give a huge motivation for further development, professional development and professionalism. During the learning process, the participants develop interesting ideas and insights. So, teachers of natural sciences suggested the Turkish side to jointly implement academic and scientific projects.
