COVERED ISSUES OF LEGAL DEVELOPMENT

A well-known statesman, the first rector of the Kazakh State Law Institute, academician of the Academy of Natural Sciences of the Republic of Kazakhstan Erkesh Nurpeisov gave a leadership lecture at the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University within the framework of the program "30 years - 30 weeks" dedicated to the anniversary of Kazakhstan's independence. The event entitled "Kazakhstan on the eve of independence" was attended by teachers and students.

In his lecture, the speaker dwelled on the peculiarities of the period of legal formation of the new state-legislator and executor. Using the example of numerous historical facts about the peculiarities of the development of the Soviet period, the history of Kazakhstani statehood, the evolution of executive power and the formation of political institutions, he closely followed the historical pattern of the formation of the state as a lawyer and politician. The academician also considered the topic of the initiatives of the Head of State, which allowed the country to overcome the social and political crisis.

The lecturer also highlighted the following topics: patterns and mechanisms of a market economy, local self-government, the Kazakh model of socio-political and socio-economic development.

At the end of the meeting, students asked topical questions regarding the development of independent Kazakhstan and shared their knowledge. The lecture was organized by the Department of Theory and History of State and Law, Constitutional and Administrative Law of the Faculty of Law.
