PRACTICE OF FUTURE MILITARY METEOROLOGISTS

In the military unit of the Almaty garrison, a practical lesson was held with students of the military department of the NJSC "KazNU al-Farabi", coordinated with the command of the Air Defense Forces of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Students are trained in the specialty "Organization of hydrometeorological and geophysical support of the Ground Forces." Accompanied by their mentors - the head of the cycle of special troops of the military department, reserve colonel K. Zharmukhanbetov and senior teacher reserve colonel N. Bibolov, they visited the military unit of the Air Defense Forces.

The session was conducted to study the structure of meteorological departments and meteorological services and the work of flight safety officials.

The head of the meteorological service of the military unit, Major Bulat Bekbaev, told the future military meteorologists about the organization of the meteorological service of the military unit, the tasks and features of the work of meteorological specialists to ensure flight safety. With great interest, the students got acquainted with the work of the duty forecaster Tatyana Sedova, who explained the procedure and rules for maintaining documentation and the basic functional requirements for the work of a specialist in this profile.

During the lesson, students passed a quiz and a test of the level of knowledge acquired. The officers especially noted the excellent knowledge of students Bakdaulet Eginbayev and Zhanay Bauyrzhanuly.

It should be emphasized that at the direction of the head of the military department of KazNU al-Farabi, reserve colonel O. Azhimov, at the end of the semester, practical exercises are conducted using the training and material base of the military units of the Almaty garrison, the Military Institute of the Ground Forces and the Military Engineering Institute of Radio Electronics and Communications. The leadership of these units and institutions at the highest level ensures high-quality training and provides practical and methodological assistance in all matters.
