As part of the Zhambyl Week at the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, an evening of poetry "Ak dombyra kolga alyp ..."

The evening was opened by the advisor to the rector of the university Malik Otarbayev, noting the importance of the event timed to coincide with the 30th anniversary of the country's independence and the 175th anniversary of the birth of the great national poet Zhambyl. Telling the young people present about the invaluable value of sovereignty and great personalities, he cited as an example the words of the famous writer Mukhtar Magauin “Zhambyl was the person who showed the world Kazakh spirituality”.

“Today we live and develop in a peaceful country. We have established contacts with various countries of the world. We celebrate this day thanks to talented and selfless individuals, ”said Malik Nurzhanovich.

Students of the specialized school of KazNU continued their performance with the dance "Toy Bastar", after which the folk singer Bek Nuriddinuly sang the song "Zhiyrma Bes" by Zhambyl Zhabayev, captivating the audience.

At the evening, the poet's poems were also sounded to the accompaniment of flute and kobyz, and “Tartys” kui and “Aykumys and Zhambyl” aitys were presented. The songs "Balalarka" and other works of the akyn were performed, which gave the audience a wonderful mood and a charge of positive emotions.
