TOURNAMENT DEDICATED TO THE 30th ANNIVERSARY OF RK INDEPENDENCE

A volleyball tournament dedicated to the 30th anniversary of Kazakhstan's Independence took place at the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University within the framework of the decade "Independence is the most precious thing".

Competitions between sports teams of student houses of Al-Farabi KazNU for the cup "Supreme Student Council-2021" were held in the sports complex of the university.

11 teams took part in the girls' volleyball competition, which were preliminarily divided into several groups with the help of a draw. As a result of gambling, the strongest teams with the most points were determined.

By the decision of the jury, teams from student houses of the Faculty of Mechanics and Mathematics, Physics and Technology and the Faculty of Philosophy and Political Science, which demonstrated the best results, reached the final. According to the results of the volleyball tournament, the first place was awarded to the women's team of the student house №1 of the Faculty of Mechanics and Mathematics. The second prize was taken by the team of the student house No. 1 of the Faculty of Physics and Technology, and the honorable third place was taken by the team of athletes from the student dormitory No. 9 of the Faculty of Philosophy and Political Science. Aytzhan Ainamkoz was named the best player among the participants in the competition.

Student volleyball tournaments were held in a friendly atmosphere, giving the participants a lot of positive emotions and teaching new mastery lessons.

All teams - participants were awarded letters of thanks on behalf of the Chairman of the Board - Rector of the Kazakh National University named after Al-Farabi Zh.K. Tuymebaev, as well as memorable gifts and souvenirs.

Also today KazNU started mini-football competitions among 12 men's teams.
