PHOTO EXHIBITION DEDICATED TO THE CELEBRATION OF INDEPENDENCE DAY

In the Great Hall of the Al-Farabi Library of the Kazakh National University in honor of the 30th anniversary of Independence of the Republic of Kazakhstan, a creative photo exhibition of famous domestic photojournalists and students of the Faculty of Journalism of KazNU "Lessons of Independence: 30 Moments in 30 Years" was held.

The purpose of the exhibition is to present to the public the events and moments of state, social, political, cultural and spiritual significance, immortalized in photographs over the thirty years of the existence of a sovereign country, to awaken a sense of patriotism in the young generation.

The event was attended by: Dean of the Faculty of Journalism Sansyzbay Madiev, Honored Artist of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Laureate of the State Prize of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Knight of the Ormet Order, actor Aydos Bektemir, People's Artist of Kazakhstan, member of the USSR Union of Cinematographers, Laureate of the State Prize of the USSR, actor Nurzhuman Yktymbaev, head of the department Akimat of Almaty, public figure Zhanna Magulova, member of the Union of Composers of Kazakhstan, teacher of the Kazakh National Conservatory named after Kurmangazy Beibit Daldenbaev, entrepreneur-philanthropist Bakytbek Manapov, head of the Museum of the Kazakh State Academic Drama Theater named after M. Auezova Nargiz Tamabekovna, culture worker of the Republic of Kazakhstan, singer Bauyrzhan Kumarbekov. The guests shared their impressions of the exhibition.

The exposition of the exhibition includes a historical author's photograph of Kaligumar Kabdeshula, donated to KazNU during a special visit of Dinmukhamed Akhmetovich Kunaev to the university. It captures the rector Omirbek Zholdasbekov, demonstrating the model of the building of the higher educational institution to the head of the republic. This is the original, signed by the hand of a well-known veteran photojournalist. Within the framework of the event, the presentation of the photobooks of Kaligumar Kabdeshula "Half-century history in photographs" and "Life and Art" took place.

The photo exhibition was organized by the well-known professional photographer Asylkhan Abdraimuly, a senior lecturer at the Faculty of Journalism of Al-Farabi KazNU.

Authors and students, whose photographs were included in the exposition of the exhibition in honor of the 30th anniversary of the country's independence, were presented with special letters of thanks.
