THE RESULTS OF THE DECADE OF INDEPENDENCE SUMMED UP

Today, the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University summed up the results of the decade "Independence is most valuable", dedicated to the 30th anniversary of Independence of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Day of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

The event "Lessons of Independence" was opened by the advisor to the rector of the university, writer-translator Malik Otarbayev, congratulating those present on the anniversary of Independence. “The first President of Kazakhstan - Elbasy Nursultan Nazarbayev, in the article“ Lessons of Independence ”, outlining historical events, outlined the path of our people to its acquisition. In order to promote the merits of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev in the history of independence and the formation of Kazakhstan, the patriotic education of young people within the framework of the decade, meaningful events were held. Well-known public figures, poets, writers and talented youth took an active part in them.

On the first day, teachers and students visited the historical and cultural center of the First President "Atameken" in the village of Shamalgan, where they traveled to the childhood of Elbasy. Having discussed the book of the Leader of the Nation "Uly dala ulaagaty", the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kassym-Zhomart Tokayev "He makes history", the participants in the discussion broadened the horizons of young people. An hour of poetry "Poems of Independence", a flash mob "Independence - 30", an evening of cinema "The Sky of My Childhood", a youth discussion "Elim Menin" demonstrated the respect of students for their country and land, and the fair "Kitap FEST" introduced the masterpieces of our literature.

At the final conference, the achievements of our country over the years of Independence were analyzed, the solid foundations of statehood, the selfless feat and work of the Kazakh people were noted. The participants proudly emphasized that today the whole world perceives Kazakhstan as a Central Asian leader, a friendly neighbor, a reliable partner and friend. It is the duty of every citizen to preserve Independence and work hard to raise the blue flag of our Motherland.

At the end of the conferences, employees who actively took part in cultural and spiritual events within the framework of the decade were presented with letters of thanks and valuable gifts on behalf of the Chairman of the Board - Rector of KazNU Zhanseit Tuimebayev.
