DISCUSSED THE PROGRAM OF THE UNIVERSITY DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM

At the meeting of the Academic Council of KazNU named after Al-Farabi, they discussed the implementation of the main directions of the university development program, as well as the course of the winter examination session.

The meeting was opened by the Chairman of the Board - Rector of KazNU Zhanseit Tuymebayev, congratulating the General Director of the Scientific Research Institute of Biological Safety Problems of the KN MES, Doctor of Biological Sciences Kunsulu Zakaria, who headed the group of scientists who created the domestic vaccine against the coronavirus QazVac, with the presentation of the state prize and technology named after Al- Farabi and conferring the title of professor.

Further, the director of the Center for Strategic Development Gulsharat Minazheva reported on the progress of the implementation of the main directions of the university development program. In her speech, the speaker announced the development priorities of KazNU: the formation of a promising model of university education and the provision of academic leadership; increasing the contribution of science to socio-economic development; creating an effective corporate governance model and ensuring sustainable development of the university. Action plan for the implementation of the university development program for 2021-2025 G.Minazheva presented in the context of the analysis of the effectiveness of its implementation, indicating both successful areas and those that require serious improvement.

Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs Fatima Zhakupova spoke about the winter examination session. In order to successfully conduct the session, the following steps were taken: the forms of final control were revised taking into account international practice; uniform distribution of the load on IT platforms is ensured; the system "Univer" contains the exam programs; the decision of the academic councils determined the threshold level of originality of examination papers by discipline; working groups have been organized to monitor the emination session, etc.

During the meeting, a monograph of the candidate of economic sciences, head of the department "finance and accounting" Azhar Nurmagambetova "Modern instruments for financing investment projects within the framework of the implementation of national programs" was recommended for publication.

Emphasizing the relevance of the topic of scientific work, the head of the university concluded the meeting of the Academic Council, urging the scientific and pedagogical staff of the university to actively participate in national programs, the implementation and commercialization of scientific projects that can give impetus to the development of the domestic economy.
