WORKS OF KAZAKH POETS AND WRITERS WILL BE TRANSLATED INTO ARABIC

Chairman of the Board - Rector of the Kazakh National University held a meeting with a delegation led by Muhammad Al-Muayni, who arrived from the United Arab Emirates. The parties discussed topical issues of further cooperation development. They also exchanged views on the creation of additional opportunities for closer interaction in the scientific and educational sphere.

Welcoming the guests, Zhanseit Tuymebaev thanked them for the working visit and put forward a number of proposals.

“Today, cooperation between the two countries is developing dynamically. Al-Farabi KazNU cooperates with 5 universities of the United Arab Emirates. Nevertheless, we must systematize this process and work to further build up bilateral cooperation. For example, I consider it necessary to hold joint exhibitions, scientific and practical conferences, scientific seminars and research for the exchange of experience in the context of the introduction and development of advanced teaching methods, ”stressed the rector of the university.

In turn, the Chairman of the Board of the Institute of International Cultural Diplomacy of the United Arab Emirates Muhammad Al-Muayni thanked Zhanseit Tuymebayev for the opportunity to meet and for the warm welcome. He also put forward his proposals for the development of partnership.

“First, I would like to congratulate everyone on the 30th anniversary of Kazakhstan's Independence. Supporting your initiatives, I propose to open a research center "Arabology" at the Faculty of Oriental Studies. We will fully provide the center with scientific and fiction literature. This initiative will allow Kazakhstani students to learn to speak Arabic and get acquainted with the literature of the United Arab Emirates, ”said Muhammad Al-Muayni.

During the meeting, Zhanseit Tuymebaev noted that it is necessary to translate the works of Kazakh poets and writers into Arabic, and the works of writers from the UAE into Kazakh. Also, the head of the university called on to work together and promote individuals who have contributed to the development of Islam. In addition, the head of the university invited UAE students to Kazakhstan to study the Kazakh language.

Following the meeting, the parties agreed to maintain direct contacts for the implementation of proposals and plans.
