Teachers and employees of Al-Farabi KazNU were awarded international certificates of advanced training courses of the Swiss School of Applied Sciences for Economics and Management (Swiss SASEM).
The main goal of the professional development program “Change Management: Management of Educational Programs (EP), an innovative approach to teaching and learning (according to Dublin descriptors and ECTS requirements) Swiss SASEM is to form a pool of competent teachers-curriculum developers.
Today, the first 30 employees of KazNU out of 500 received international certificates. Certified coaches appeared among colleagues.
One of the main strategic development objectives of the country's leading university is its transformation into a research university. The Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan set the task of developing human capital in the context of the university, it is more than 1000 teachers and employees involved in advanced training programs. The joint Swiss SASEM project will contribute to improving the quality of EP and the demand for teachers not only in the Kazakhstan market, but also at the international level.
While studying at the courses, teachers received a number of necessary practical competencies: the use of new innovative teaching methods, the formation of networking and the involvement of stakeholders in the development, planning and organization of resource support for educational programs, team management for their effective implementation.
The implementation of the ambitious tasks facing the university is impossible without investing in human capital. A long-term, systematic project implemented in cooperation with the Swiss business school Swiss SASEM will have a cumulative effect.
