THE PROBLEMS OF MEDIA EDUCATION WERE DISCUSSED

The 5th International Forum of Journalism "Improving the level of virtual education based on the use of verified reliable information", dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the Republic of Kazakhstan's accession to the UN, was held in the focus of media education problems.

This year, scientists from the Netherlands, Slovakia, Turkey, Russia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan discussed the boundaries and formats of virtual learning and digital education.

The event was attended by a representative of the UN Department of Global Communications Vlastimil Samek, Head of the Political Cooperation Department of the Representation of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan in Almaty Almasha Arenova, Advisor to the Chairman of the Senate of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan on media relations Bibigul Zheksenbay, Advisor to the European Association of Journalists (EJTA), Deputy Chairman World Council for Journalism Education, Professor of the University of Applied Sciences Windesheim Niko Drok and others.

Among the speakers were also: Professor of the Institute of Forecasting of the Slovak Academy of Sciences Vladimir Bachishin, radio TRT ``Voice of Turkey", leading editor of the Kazakh edition Ufuk Tuzman, professor of the National University of Uzbekistan named after Mirzo Ulugbek Yakutkhon Mamatova, professor of St. Petersburg State University Gavra Dmitry Petrovich , Bykov Ilya Anatolyevich, Associate Professor of the Department of Theory and History of Journalism of the People's Friendship University of Russia Matvienko Valentin Viktorovich, Head of the Department of Media Projects of the Corporate Development Fund Media Kulaman Bibigul Bokenbaevna. Scientific reports were made by Kanat Auesbay, Deputy Director of the media holding "Elorda-Aqparat", Dean of the Faculty of Journalism of the Kyrgyz National University named after Zh. Balasagyn Kostyuk Shirin Aalievna and other scientists and practitioners.

The collection of materials of the journalism forum with the support of the analytical center COMENIUS ANALYTICA, the general partner of the scientific event, will be published by the Slovak publishing house IRIS Publishing and printing.
