The delegation of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University headed by the Chairman of the Board – Rector Zhanseit Tuimebayev took part in the 8th Meeting of the Board of Directors at the University of Grenoble-Alpes in Grenoble (France).
"Campus-in-Campus" (CiC) project is an initiative to share the campuses of partner universities in order to use research and educational resources without any national or institutional barriers. In addition, within the framework of the CiC project, partner universities should increase the mobility of students, teaching and administrative staff.
Since 2019 KazNU has been a participant in the "Campus-in-Campus" project. The CiC Memorandum between the University of Tsukuba (Japan) and the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University was signed within the framework of the QS World University Rankings Forum, which was held on the basis of KazNU.
The 8th Meeting of the Board of Directors is attended by a number of leading world universities, such as the University of Tsukuba, the University of Bordeaux, the National University of Taiwan, the University of Sao Paulo, the University of Technology Malaysia, the University of California at Irvine (CiC research Partner), Utrecht University (CiC research Partner), the University of Grenoble-Alpes, the University of Ohio State, Ruhr University Bochum.
One of the most pivotal stages of the participation of the KazNU delegation was the signing of an agreement on bilateral cooperation with the University of Bordeaux. Also during this visit, agreements were concluded on expanding collaboration with the University of Grenoble-Alpes and the University of Tsukuba.
