WEEKLY REVIEW OF THE ACTIVITY OF THE CHAIRMAN OF THE BOARD – RECTOR OF AL-FARABI KAZAKH NATIONAL UNIVERSITY ZHANSEIT TUIMEBAYEV

Zhanseit Tuimebayev met with the President of Qatar University Hassan Rashid Al-Derham at the Kazakh-Qatari Investment Forum in Astana. Following the meeting, the parties signed a memorandum of cooperation.


The head of the University took part in a solemn event dedicated to the 15th anniversary of the Charity Fund "Dara" in the Museum named after A. Kasteev. In his speech, the rector of the university congratulated the employees of the charitable foundation on a significant date.


Zhanseit Tuimebayev solemnly opened a memorial bas-relief to the outstanding architect and builder Taras Tulegenov, who supervised the construction of KazGU Grad, in the Palace of Students named after U. Zholdasbekov.


The Rector of the university met with the director of the Earth Institute at Columbia University, Janis Ben Amor. Issues of further strengthening of bilateral cooperation were discussed at the meeting.


Zhanseit Tuimebayev made a report at the international scientific and practical conference "We live in a constitutional space: political and legal views of Academician Sultan Sartayev".
