KAZNU EXPANDS PARTNERSHIP WITH AZERBAIJANI UNIVERSITIES

Chairman of the Board-Rector of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University Zhanseit Tuimebayev held a meeting with Vice-Rector for International Relations and Programs of the Azerbaijan State University of Economics Neman Muradli. The parties discussed issues of further bilateral cooperation.

Zhanseit Tuimebayev welcomed the guests from Azerbaijan and focused on the history and achievements of the educational institution. He also shared the university's experience in cooperation with foreign institutions.

"Al-Farabi Kazakh National University is on the 150^th place in the QS ranking. Currently more than 500 international cooperation agreements have been signed with leading higher education institutions and institutes. Within the framework of these agreements, various educational programs and scientific projects are being implemented. The list of partners includes higher educational institutions of Azerbaijan. We intend to work closely with the Azerbaijan State University of Economics and support initiatives aimed at fruitful cooperation and increase engagement," the head of the KazNU stated.

In turn, Neman Muradli thanked the rector for the warm welcome. He noted that he will make every effort to develop cooperation between the Azerbaijan State University of Economics and the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University.
