COOPERATION BETWEEN KAZNU AND NOVOSIBIRSK STATE UNIVERSITY

Chairman of the Board – Rector of Al–Farabi Kazakh National University Zhanseit Tuimebayev met with the Director of Novosibirsk State University in Kazakhstan Karim Arginbayev.

During the meeting the parties expressed their readiness to develop bilateral cooperation and discussed priority areas of partnership in scientific and educational activities.

At the meeting the rector of KazNU presented the activities and achievements of the university. Zhanseit Tuimebayev also noted the fruitful long-term cooperation between KazNU and Novosibirsk State University.

"To date more than 150 collaboration agreements have been signed with leading universities and institutes of the Russian Federation. Within the framework of these agreements, various educational programs and scientific and innovative projects are being implemented. Among them there are projects of Novosibirsk State University. KazNU is ready to support all initiatives to develop mutually beneficial cooperation in various areas of education and science," Zhanseit Tuimebayev said.

In turn, Karim Arginbayev thanked the leadership of KazNU for the hospitality and presented new projects that were implemented by Novosibirsk State University. In conclusion, initiatives for the implementation of joint scientific research were considered.
