STUDENT OF KAZNU WON THE "OCEANMAN – 2022"

We are very proud to announce that 4^th year student of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University Eldar Shekerbek took 1^st place at the World Final Championship Oceanman - 2022 in Phuket, Thailand.

The Oceanman World Championship is the largest international open water swimming competition. Designed by swimmers for swimmers, the project begins in 2015 and has not stopped growing since then. This year the race gathered 1200 athletes from all over the world. Eldar showed the best result, swimming 5 kilometers in the open water in 1 hour and 10 minutes.

It is important to highlight that The Oceanman Almaty-Kapchagay 2021 competition was held in July in Kazakhstan. The young athlete, Eldar Shekerbek again became the absolute champion of the July Ocean Kazakhstan competition in Kapshagai.
