STUDENT OF KAZNU NADEZHDA PIVOVAROVA PARTICIPATES IN THE 31st WINTER UNIVERSIADE

Nadezhda Pivovarova, a 3rd-year student of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, will take part in the XXX World Winter Universiade as part of the national team of Kazakhstan. The competition has begun today in Lake Placid (USA), where N. Pivovarova will compete for medals in biathlon.

Nadezhda was born on March 19, 1999, she is the Master of Sports of the Republic of Kazakhstan in biathlon. Currently, she is studying at KazNU, her major is "Physical culture and sports".

Nadezhda Pivovarova is a multiple champion of Kazakhstan. In 2019, she took first places at the Kazakhstan Biathlon Championship. She participated in the World Championship several times. She showed good results at all stages of the IBU World Cup.

The athlete of KazNU, Nadezhda Pivovarova represents the country in biathlon at the World Winter Universiade, which will be held from January 12-22.

According to preliminary estimates, athletes from 44 countries of the world will take part in the Winter Universiade.
