WEEKLY REVIEW OF THE ACTIVITY OF THE CHAIRMAN OF THE BOARD – RECTOR OF AL-FARABI KAZAKH NATIONAL UNIVERSITY ZHANSEIT TUIMEBAYEV

Zhanseit Kanseitovich took part in the IX British-Kazakh Intergovernmental Commission in London with the participation of the Minister of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The agenda of meeting included the discussion of current trends and priorities of higher education in the two countries.

Rector met with Adam Habib, Director of the SOAS University of London. A memorandum defining the main directions of academic cooperation and exchange of academic staff and students was signed at the meeting.

As part of a working trip to London, the head of the university met with KazNU doctoral students studying at King's College London.

In addition, the rector of KazNU specially visited the University of Reading, where he got acquainted with the activities of the university.
