During a working visit to the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan Altai Kulginov visited the Al-Farabi Library. The working group included Minister of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan Sayasat Nurbek, Deputy Akim of Almaty Asem Nusipova and other officials.
The Deputy Prime Minister first got acquainted with the Al-Farabi Museum and visited reading rooms. The Al-Farabi Library has the largest book collection among the higher educational institutions of Central Asia, including more than 2 million copies.
Next, Altai Seidiruly visited an exhibition of scientific and innovative projects of KazNU and achievements of faculties.
Rector of KazNU Zhanseit Tuimebayev told Altai Kulginov that 100 innovative projects developed by KazNU scientists are implemented at the university. Currently, work is underway to commercialize these scientific projects.
Furthermore, the Deputy Prime Minister was presented sensors based on nanomaterials, energy-saving lamps, biologically active additives based on microalgae, the production of medicines from natural raw materials of Kazakhstan.
Methods of prevention and treatment of vascular pathologies, project to modernize tourist digital content (mobile applications, panoramic 3D tours, interactive maps and QR codes), psychophysiological markers of depression were also presented.
