DELEGATION OF THE OBUDA UNIVERSITY VISITS KAZNU

The delegation of the Obuda University (Budapest, Hungary) headed by the Rector of the University Levent Kovacs paid a working visit to the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University.

The Hungarian delegation included Director General András Molnár, Dean of the Alba Regia Technical Faculty Gyorgy Georok, Deputy Dean of the Alba Regia Technical Faculty and Coordinator of the CA Region Monica Pogatshnik, Head of the Communications and Press Service Department Ildikó Tóth.

KazNU signed cooperation agreements with eight universities of Hungary: the Obuda University, Kodolányi János University, University of Szeged, University of Sopron, Eszterházy Károly Catholic University, Pázmány Péter Catholic University, Semmelweis University.

It should be noted that within the framework of cooperation in recent years, 10 doctoral students and 73 students have traveled to Hungary universities to gain new knowledge, undergo scientific internship, participate in international conferences and conduct research. Also during this period, 20 members of academic staff visited Hungary in order to implement research projects and participate in international conferences. As part of the academic mobility, two students from the University of Szeged studied at the Philological faculty of the university in the specialty "Kazakh Philology".

The parties discussed a range of issues related to the scientific and educational process, and agreed on further cooperation.
