QUALIFICATION

MODEL OF GRADUATING STUDENT
1. systematize knowledge about the history of religion, religious theories, methodological foundations, and professional terminology in religious studies;
2.characterize the history and specifics of worldview, national, traditional and new religious movements and cults, analyzing their philosophical, sociological, psychological, and phenomenological aspects;
3.use linguistic methods and techniques in scientific research, in the interpretation of sacred scriptures and texts in the original language, as well as to solve communication problems in a multilingual and multicultural society;
4. explore the place of religion in the cultural system and its activities in the life of a person and society;
5. apply scientific methods (semiotic, narrative field research methods) in solving problems of religious issues;
6. analyze issues of religious beliefs of Kazakh thinkers, various schools in Islam and Christian theology, their history, basic principles and features related to religion and tradition, ethical, aesthetic and semiotic values, principles of tolerance to various religious and confessional traditions;
7. argue for legal acts that define the main directions of state policy, legislation in the field of religion and interfaith relations;
8. carry out expert and research activities, using the methodology of qualifying work of collecting, analyzing information and skills of public speaking, rhetorical argumentation and written presentation from an objective point of view;
9. analyze the specifics of the development of domestic and foreign religious studies in a comparative manner;
10. possess the skills of entrepreneurial activity, financial literacy, solving standard problems of professional activity, ecology and human safety.
